Job Description
Hardware Design Engineer - Hertfordshire
Analogue, RF, digital, PCB, test, approvals.
NEW position to join a leading company who design/manufacture a comprehensive range of commercial radio systems.
They are expanding their R&D Team and looking to take on a Hardware Design Engineer to develop cutting edge, market leading consumer electronic devices.
You will be responsible for the design of electronic systems and products for the worldwide consumer electronics market including: component selection, schematic entry & PCB layout, prototype assembly, testing & debug, fault diagnosis, system qualification, approvals testing and product introduction to mass production.
Ideally you\'ll have practical experience of board/system RF design using EDA tools, system test & qualification, product approvals (UL/ETL/CE/LVD/EMC etc), and possibly experience of designing cost optimised consumer electronics products, and/or an interest in RF, audio or music.
The position is based in Hertfordshire and there will be some overseas travel.
